RECRUITMENT DETAILS FOR 2010 SEASON

The Manly Bombers is one of the largest junior AFL clubs in NSW. We dont just teach children the unique craft of Australian Football, they also learn courage, self-confidence, discipline and team spirit. In 2010, the Manly Bombers will celebrate its Tenth Anniversary Season with a range of special registration discounts and giveaways.

• Our Season runs from mid April to the Beginning of Sseptember
• Age Groups: Auskick for 5-8 year olds, under 9s, Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 12s, Under 13s, Under 14s & Under 16s.
• Age group is determined by calendar year. i.e. if a child turns 10 during 2010 then they will be in the Under 10s.
• 5 to 11 year olds play modified rules with limited contact and are not graded.
• The Manly Bombers Home ground is Weldon Oval, Stirgess Avenue, North Curl Curl. In 2010, Weldon Oval will be resurfaced and the Club has arranged temporary training and match day access to alternative venues - see 2010 Temporary Training and Match Day Ground Locations

FEES FOR THE 2010 SEASON
The fees that will apply for the 2010 season are as follows:

Referral Rate Discount Conditions
If you refer a new player to the Club for the 2010 season, not only can you claim a discount on your membership but the new player or family can also claim a discount. The following conditions apply to the Referral Rate Discount:

1. The Discount can only apply once per referring player or family, no matter how many players you refer through.
2. Family members cannot refer each other to obtain the Discount.
3. New players cannot refer each other to obtain the Discount.
4. A new player is defined as any player who didnt play at the Club in the 2009 season.
5. The discount is applied to the standard registration price NOT the early bird rate.
6. $65 is the maximum discount that will apply with this referral registration offer.
7. Discount ends 31st March 2010, standard rates will apply after this date.

Referral Rate Discount Examples:

• If you are a current player and you refer a new player, your registration fee will be $65 and the new players fee will be $65.
• If you are a current family and you refer a new player, your registration fee will be $135 and the new players fee will be $65.
• If you are a current player and you refer a new family, your registration fee will be $65 and the new familys fee will be $135.
• If you are a current family and you refer a new family, your registration fee will be $135 and the new familys will be $135.
• If you refer multiple players, you are in the running to become the Clubs No.1 Recruiter (see details below) but you can only claim the discount once so your registration fee will be $65 for an individual and $135 for a family no matter how many new players you refer.
  

A record will be kept of all referrals and if a player is already referred or registered/registration papers received, then the discount will not apply unless a referrer is nominated. That is a first come first served approach will apply.

If you would like to take up the referral offer then please wait until registration days on Saturday 6 and 13 February at the Bendigo Community Bank, Freshwater and bring along your registration form and the referral person or the person's registration form and payment etc so
we can match names and paperwork.

HOW TO REGISTER WITH THE MANLY BOMBERS

In Person

You can register in person at one of the Clubs Registration Days as follows:

If you are a new player, a copy of your birth certificate or passport must be sighted by the Registrar before registration can be completed.

By Mail

New players registering by mail should include a copy of their birth certificate (no originals please). If you are being referred to the Club by a current player, you may qualify for a special discount. If you wish to claim the special Referral Rate Discount for 2010, make sure you write down who referred you on your Registration Form!

For returning players, the Club will be mailing out proforma registration forms to 2010 players in January so families can take advantage of Early Bird rates.

Payment

We will accept cash, money orders and cheques. Credit card payments can be made at Registration days (Visa and MasterCard only which are subject to a 3.5% surcharge). Cheques should be made payable to Manly Bombers JAFC (not the AFL !).

Playing Kit

Jumpers are provided by the Club. Shorts and socks are available for purchase from the Club for $20 and $15 respectively.

Code of Conduct

We ask all new and re-signing players and parents to read the AFL Code of Conduct. At the Manly Bombers, we take this code very seriously and expect all players, parents and coaches to abide by these rules. Refer attached Code of Conduct.

The Clubs No.1 Recruiter

When you tell your friend to join the Manly Bombers, be sure to tell them to put your name on their registration form as being the person who referred them to the Manly Bombers. The person who referees the most new players to our Club will receive a leather Sherrin Football for being the Clubs Number One Recruiter.
