Manly Bombers Vs Mosman Reds
Today we had a great victory over Mosman Reds. It was an exciting game as the boys tackled fiercely for the ball and their competitive spirit led them to stay ahead of Mosman for the entire game.
As the first game of the season the boys, some new to Manly Bombers played well as a team. Each player brought their individual strengths to the game and worked together to do some great handballs, marks, run ons and together work very hard to keep the ball in the forward pockets. We saw some great marks, some screamers as boys jumped high to mark the ball above the pack, some great chest marks and overall the boys kept their eyes on the ball at all times.
Accuracy for goal was pretty good considering it was the first match of the season. One player did a terrific snap right at the end of the match. The camaraderie was very evident as the boys left the field feeling very pleased to have had this early victory.
