GIRLS Player of the Week – Ella Tyack
U10YG- You wouldn’t know it by watching her play, but this is Ella Tyack’s first year playing AFL.
Ella is a natural athlete and has a hunger for tackling and getting involved in the action at all ends of the pitch.
During a recent Friday evening game under the lights Ella and the Under 10 girls faced an extremely strong French’s Forest side.
If it wasn’t for Ella’s strong midfield play and 3rd quarter goal the girls would have been blown off the pitch.
Keep up the great work Ella.
Auskick BOYS Player of the Week – Osh Fylan
U7 Boys - Osh started playing Auskick with his mates in our U6 team last season. This is his second year playing with the Manly Bombers U7.
Osh started playing Auskick as his grandfather was a fantastic Gaelic Football player in Ireland (AFL and Gaelic Football have close links). Nothing makes Osh smile more than kicking big kicks to goal! Any goal will do (even if it's not the one he's supposed to be kicking to!).
His favourite drill at training is "punch the chicken" and he is a keen Sydney Swans supporter.
Osh is getting to know his neighbours really well as he collects his footy from their gardens.
Auskick GIRLS Player of the Week – Eve Fylan
Auskick Girls- Eve is very proud to be playing her first season in the Manly Bombers ground breaking Girls Auskick team.
Eve is the younger sister of Osh who is our boy player of the week and she is lucky to have Mum coaching her this year.
Eve started playing because Osh was playing and also the connection with Gaelic football.
She Loves to hand pass - feels really proud when it goes in the direction she wants.
Her Favourite drill is a hand pass and punch the chicken
Eve also barracks for the Sydney Swans!
Being our Players of the Week they have won a free sausage sandwich or egg and bacon roll and a drink from the Club House canteen.
