Auskick

Welcome to Auskick at the Manly Bombers.

Auskick is the best introduction for kids into the world of Australian Rules Football. No matter if you know the game or not, Auskick is inclusive for girls and boys aged 5-8 at any ability to play. At this stage it's all about having fun, getting your hands on the footy and constantly being involved in exciting activities. Find out more here.

Auskick is designed for families in mind, keeping the sessions light hearted and inclusive. We ask all parents to get involved and interact with their kids by helping with drills and games. You will have the opportunity to meet other families in our community and learn about the game.

There are no teams in Auskick until you get to U8. We have a girls group and the boys go in to age groups: U6, U7 and U8. The girls are more than welcome to play with the boys, but most of the girls love playing in a girls only squad.

As you move through the age groups there are structured combinations of activities that are age and skill appropriate. These are fun game-based activities that kids absolutely love, with less intricate footy drills and more exciting games with a footy twist tailored for different levels.

We play on Sundays from 8.30am to 9.30am at Frank Gray and Mike Pawley Ovals in Curl Curl.

Auskick depends solely on parent participation. All coaches and volunteers with have an Auskick player or players on the field. The AFL supports the Auskick programme and coaches and volunteers receive support and training.

If you would like to be a coach or volunteer please do let us know.

Once you sign up your little Auskicker, you will receive a Auskick Pack from the AFL full of interesting things.

You will receive regular communication from us on everything you need to know before and during the season. We communicate via email and TeamApp.

The season starts on Sunday 28 April and will run until early August. We look forward to seeing you on the field.
